Armande  Altaï











In the 80's, Armande Altaï released several albums, some with musicians of Bowie or Police, another recorded in London and produced by Martin Hannett, producer of Joy Division and Nico.
Shortly after Armande Altaï takes Stathis under her wing, upon his arrival in Paris. What follows is a parallel life, immersed in the parisian underground. Stathis participates in the organization of events in which Armande Altaï gives concerts, along with Nina Hagen, Brigitte Fontaine, Jad Wio, Daniel Darc and many others ...




 








 

In 2003, Armande Altaï released her book  "Cette musique qui me vient de loin" { This music that comes to me from far away}, biography in which she talks about Stathis.
" ... And the infernal Stathis, my favorite pixie, proudly wore two evil macarons on his head. Flamboyant make-up artist, he sings today in a Gothic group "Christador" with his imperious, vibrant and brassy voice ..."


Then in 2007, at the release of her album "Héroïnes Fantaisie", Armande Altaï gives concerts where she invites Stathis for a duet in the final song, the resumption of the song "This Wheel's on Fire". Also, the 8th of November 2010, during her concert at the Alhambra in Paris, Armande Altaï reiterates the invitation for the same final song and the duet for her song "L'Esclave Endormi".













Since Stathis has recorded his own version of  { L'Esclave Endormi }.




A new musical project with Armande Altaï, Stathis et Hervé Lafleur is in gestation ...
